AKASH Tech Inc. ("AKASH Tech", "we", "us") is a corporation incorporated under the Canada Business Corporations Act, corporation number 1819122-1, with its registered office at 19-266 Pinehouse Place, Saskatoon, SK S7K 4X1, Canada. We operate the website at akash-tech.online.

We are responsible for personal information under our control and act in accordance with Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and applicable provincial privacy legislation.

2. What we collect

Information you give us

Contact and enquiry details — name, email address, telephone number, company name, and whatever you choose to write in a message or form.
Project information — requirements, documents and other material you share while we scope or deliver work.
Recruitment information — your CV, portfolio links and correspondence if you apply for a role.
Subscription details — your email address if you opt in to our newsletter.

Information collected automatically

Technical data — IP address, browser type, device type, operating system, referring page and pages viewed, collected in standard server logs.
Preferences stored on your device — this site stores your light or dark theme choice in your browser's local storage. It never leaves your device and we cannot read it.

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13, and we do not sell personal information to anyone, ever.

To respond to your enquiry and provide the services you ask for
To prepare proposals, quotes and contracts
To deliver, support and maintain work you have engaged us to do
To send you the newsletter, if and only if you asked for it
To assess job applications
To keep the website secure, diagnose problems and understand which pages are useful
To meet legal, accounting and tax obligations

We rely on your consent for marketing communications and on the legitimate operation of our business for the rest. You can withdraw consent at any time — see section 8.

We share personal information only where it is necessary, and never for someone else's marketing. Categories of recipient:

Service providers — hosting, email delivery, form handling, analytics and error monitoring providers who process data on our instructions and under contract.
Professional advisers — accountants and lawyers where required.
Legal authorities — where we are compelled by law, court order or a lawful request.
A successor — if the business or part of it is transferred, personal information may transfer with it, subject to this policy.

Some providers operate servers outside Canada, which means information may be processed in and subject to the laws of other countries, including the United States. Where you require Canadian data residency for a project, tell us and we will architect for it.

5. Cookies and analytics

This website does not set advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. Your theme preference is stored in local storage, not in a cookie, and is never transmitted. If we later add privacy-respecting analytics, we will update this section and — where required — ask for your consent first. Embedded third-party content, such as the map on our contact page, is loaded from that provider and is subject to its own privacy policy.

6. How long we keep it

Enquiries that do not become projects — up to 24 months, then deleted.
Client records — for the duration of the engagement and up to 7 years afterwards, to meet Canadian tax and record-keeping requirements.
Job applications — up to 12 months, unless you ask us to remove them sooner.
Newsletter subscriptions — until you unsubscribe.
Server logs — typically 30 to 90 days.

7. How we protect it

We apply safeguards appropriate to the sensitivity of the information: encryption in transit (HTTPS/TLS), encryption at rest for stored project data, least-privilege access control, multi-factor authentication on business accounts, regular patching and dependency scanning, and encrypted backups. No system is perfectly secure, but we will notify you and the appropriate authorities without undue delay if a breach creates a real risk of significant harm, as required by PIPEDA.

8. Your rights

Under Canadian privacy law you may:

Access the personal information we hold about you
Correct information that is inaccurate or incomplete
Withdraw consent to marketing or other optional processing
Request deletion, subject to our legal retention obligations
Ask how your information has been used and to whom it has been disclosed
Complain to us, and then to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada if you are not satisfied

Email support@akash-tech.online and we will respond within 30 days. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request.

9. Email and CASL

We comply with Canada's Anti-Spam Legislation. We send commercial electronic messages only with your express or implied consent, every message identifies us and includes a working unsubscribe link, and unsubscribe requests are honoured within 10 business days — in practice, immediately.

10. Changes to this policy

If we change this policy we will update the effective date above. Material changes will be highlighted on this page, and where the change affects how we use information you have already given us, we will contact you directly.
