UI/UX Design

Interface design grounded in research, so what gets built is validated before it gets expensive.

Overview

UI/UX Design, done properly

Design is the cheapest place to be wrong. Changing a wireframe takes an afternoon; changing the same decision after it has shipped takes a fortnight and a difficult conversation. That is why every build we do starts in design, even when the client arrives certain they know exactly what they want.

We work in the open: research and flows first, then low-fidelity wireframes you can criticise without worrying about colours, then a full interface in a design system you own. You approve what you will actually get, before development starts.

Capabilities

What this service covers

Discovery & user research

Interviews, analytics review and competitive analysis to establish what users need before deciding what to build.

Information architecture

Navigation, content structure and user flows mapped so people can find what they came for.

Wireframes & prototypes

Clickable prototypes you can test with real users while changes still cost almost nothing.

Visual design & brand

Interface design, colour, typography and iconography — applied to your brand or building one with you.

Design systems

A reusable component library in Figma and in code, so future work stays consistent and ships faster.

Accessibility & usability testing

WCAG 2.2 AA review, keyboard and screen-reader testing, and moderated sessions with actual users.

Deliverables

What you receive

  • Wireframes for every key screen
  • Clickable prototype for testing and sign-off
  • High-fidelity designs for mobile, tablet and desktop
  • Design system with documented components
  • Accessibility audit and remediation notes

Process

How a ui/ux design project runs

1

Discover

A free consultation to understand the problem, the people it affects and what success actually looks like.

2

Define

A written scope with user stories, screens, milestones, a fixed price and a delivery date you can plan around.

3

Design

Wireframes then polished UI, reviewed with you before we write production code — changes are cheap at this stage.

4

Build

Two-week sprints with a working demo at the end of each one. You always know exactly where the project stands.

5

Launch & support

Deployment, monitoring, handover documentation and 30 days of included support after go-live.

Questions

UI/UX Design FAQs

Yes, and we deliver it properly: a documented component library, specifications for spacing, states and behaviour, exported assets and a walkthrough session with the development team. You own the Figma files outright.

Of course. We extend existing brand guidelines into interface patterns — which is a different discipline from print or logo design, and often the missing piece. If your guidelines do not cover digital states like hover, focus, error and empty screens, we add them and hand the extended system back to you.

It is a library of reusable components — buttons, forms, tables, navigation — defined once in design and in code. It is worth the investment when you have more than one product or expect continuous development, because every new screen becomes assembly rather than invention. For a single small site, it is overkill and we will say so.

Clickable prototypes put in front of five to eight people who match your real users. Five participants reliably surface the majority of usability problems, and finding them at prototype stage costs a fraction of finding them after launch. You get a recorded summary of what people struggled with and what we changed.
