E-Commerce Solutions

Online stores that load fast, convert properly and do not create work for your back office.

Overview

E-Commerce Solutions, done properly

An online store is an operations problem wearing a design problem's clothes. The storefront matters — a slow, confusing checkout leaks revenue on every visit — but the real cost of a badly built store is the hours your team spends afterwards re-keying orders, fixing stock counts and reconciling payouts.

We build storefronts on Shopify, WooCommerce or a headless stack depending on what you sell and how you sell it, and we wire them into the systems behind them: inventory, accounting, shipping, tax and fulfilment. The goal is a store that can take three times the orders without hiring anyone.

Questions

E-Commerce Solutions FAQs

Shopify for most retailers: hosting, security and payments handled, excellent mobile checkout, predictable monthly cost. WooCommerce when you are already on WordPress or need unusual product logic without platform fees. Headless when performance, complex merchandising or a multi-market catalogue justify the extra build. We recommend based on your catalogue and order volume, not on what we prefer to build.

Yes. We migrate products, variants, images, customers, order history and URLs, with redirects so your search rankings and existing links survive. Migrations are planned around your quietest trading period and rehearsed in staging before anything changes publicly.

Tax is configured by destination province — GST, HST and PST all behave differently — and we test the combinations that apply to your catalogue before launch. For cross-border selling we set up US state nexus handling and customs information on shipping labels.

We set a performance budget before design starts and measure against it: optimised and correctly sized images, lazy loading, minimal third-party scripts and a CDN. The most common cause of a slow store is an accumulation of marketing apps, so we audit what each one costs you in load time and tell you which ones are not paying their way.
